UK Roadtrip: Edinburgh, Scotland

After spending the night in Glasgow, Scotland we woke up and drove to Edinburgh for the day.

Met some sweet Scottish soldiers.

Then we climbed the steep hill to the Edinburgh Castle. We spent the first half of the day touring the museums and seeing the crowned jewels in this huge castle.

The view of the city from the castle.

I was taking a quick picture of Lincoln and Livvy when this man standing next to us said he wanted to take a picture of all of us. As he was taking it, Jude (the over-tired) child started screaming. After the man took our picture he turned and snapped a shot of Jude for "posterity's" sake. Poor Jude.

Once we finished the castle we walked the Royal Mile. It's a mile of shops and restaurants. Lincoln loved it.

Lincoln the tourist.

We thought that my tailor brother could add these fabulous kilts to his custom line.

We had a really fun day in Edinburgh. I think our favorite thing about Scotland is the accent!

  1. Did you walk over to the elephant cafe where JK Rowling wrote some of her Harry potter books? The castle is big and beautiful and yes very steep hill.
