Leeds Castle, Again.

A few Saturdays ago we went back to one of our favorite castles and spent the day walking, playing and eating ice cream. It was wonderful weather and a wonderful day.

UK Road Trip: Bodnant Garden

Blimey! We're in London!

hi and welcome to our blog devoted to documenting our 2 year secondment in the United Kingdom. We are Americans from the Bay Area that have no clue what is going on. We are comprised of one travel hungry dad, one anxious mom, one sassy 2.5 year old girl, and one happy 5 month old boy.

I am an expert pessimist and proficient complainer, so in an effort to not drive my husband (the crazed tourist) mad, I'm going to play the "glad game". Here we will document the good, the bad and the ugly of our UK experience, but at the end of each post there will be a "glad" note. Even if it is only related to the amount of days left till I return to the blessed United States, I will be glad about something.

Hopefully Pollyanna's "glad game" will transcend my otherwise skeptical attitude and leave me embracing the British way of life.
